A beer shank is the part that attaches to the beer faucet. Beer shanks come in several lengths to accomodate any wall thickness.

SOLID BRASS SHANKS
At Wholesale Draft, we use solid brass or stainless steel to ensure strength and cooling conductivity. For the beer distributors convenience, beer shanks are available with 3/16" or 1/4" bore. Most home applications use 1/4" bore beer shanks.

WHAT COMES WITH A BEER SHANK?
All beer shanks come complete with the following parts: chrome beer coupling nut, beer coupling sleeve, stainless snap ring, black outside flange and beer locknut. The beer nuts and beer tailpieces, which attach to the end of some beer shanks, are available in the "Beer Shank Parts" section and also in the "Beer Washers and Beer Fittings" section of our catalog.
